DEVELOPING MY ROLE IN THE EDUCATION GROUP

Dear members of the Education  group,

                                           I apologise for being laxed in the input into the group but the reason is that my book "Green Spirituality-one answer to environmental problems and world poverty" Pub authorhouse (see www.greenspirituality.org) came out this last February and I have been busy trying to promote it. This is easing off now and I intend to put more input into the group.

                                         Through meeting people at the Food festival it seems a role for me is to promote TTL to different groups. I was approached by a Town Councillor for a talk and also someone from a village who wants to go green. The Preston Bagot request has come to  fruition and I am going to be booked for a talk with them. So I can do outreach work via talks.

                                          I am also starting on a project to produce 3 power points. One for Secondary Schools, one for Primary Schools  and one for Public. These  could be shown at events  with a laptop rolling ou the content continuously or they can be used as a basis for a talk on TTL. I intend to first start  with secondary schools and try and get gigs to do short talks in assemblies. 

                                          I also want to work more closely with Derreck with his SPARKS project  near Harbury to see if it can be used as a exemplar for educational purposes. I would also value the input of Juliette with her expertise in Graphic design.
